Use your phone as a Hisense TV remote
A Hisense TV with Google TV can be controlled from any phone on the same Wi-Fi. Open a remote app, choose your Hisense and type the code shown on screen. You can see which system your Hisense runs on its home screen: a For you tab with recommendations means Google TV.

Set up your phone as a Hisense remote
- Connect the phone to the same Wi-Fi as the TV.
- Turn the TV on. Without a remote, use the button on the TV.
- Open the remote app and pick your Hisense TV from the list.
- Type the code the TV shows on screen. The phone remembers the TV afterwards.

Let your phone turn the Hisense TV on
A phone can only wake a Hisense TV that keeps its network connection in standby. On Hisense Google TV models look under Settings → System → Power & energy for a network standby or quick start option, and turn it on.
Hisense calls HDMI-CEC CEC. With it on (under the TV's inputs settings), turning on a console or streaming box connected by HDMI also turns the TV on.
